Visit from Heightened Independence & Progress (hip) President December 11,2022

Brian Fitzgibbons from Heightened Independence & Progress  visited our club in December to update our new members and old on what is happening at HIP.

Hip is one of the organizations that the Bergenfield Lions support 

WHAT THEY DO

“Heightened Independence & Progress“

They provide a wide range of services for people with disabilities in the areas of advocacy, information and referral, peer support, and independent living skills training. They offer employment services, life skills training classes, and recreational activities for adults and young adults. 

Also provides services, such as support coordination and care management under a number of state and county programs. comprehensive services are a critical part of the support network that enables people with disabilities residing in Bergen and Hudson counties to live independently in their communities.
